Small Business Vendors

Oak and Fir only purchase from other small businesses with the same values as us. We look for suppliers who are conscious of their environmental impact, are continually making efforts to reduce waste and energy usage, are cut-to-order, and source all local materials. Here is a list of our current suppliers.

Small Batches

Most of our suppliers are cut-to-order and we also do not want to create waste by over purchasing. This is why we order in very small batches that are then sewn to order. This ensures that none of our pieces ever go to waste.

Ethical Manufacturing

Most of our suppliers manufacture to order in very small warehouses (or their own homes!). Those that outsource to factories outside of North America are part of programs to guarantee the safety of all workers. An example of this is Premium Recycled Threads. Their clothing is manufactured in a small, woman operated factory in India with livable wages and benefits including tuition for school-aged children.

Conscious Packaging

At Oak and Fir, we make every effort to use only recycled, recyclable or compostable materials for all of our packaging. We are continually updating our packaging to be as sustainable as possible.

Carbon Neutral Shipping

All of our orders are shipped 100% carbon neutral! So you'll have confidence/peace of mind that when an Oak and Fir package arrives at your door, you’ll get something you love, and you’ll be proud of the fact that you’re taking a small step towards making a big change in the world/actively reducing your carbon footprint.
